The ORGANIC CURIOSITIES Surfskate Inspired by Yana is a handcrafted Peartree longboard. Pear tree is strong wood and has good elasticity characteristics to guarantee a comfortable ride. Soulgoodiez designs longboards with a soul. For our Artboards we use graphics of artists to laser over our board in order to put the Soul of the Artist in our Boards.
A little word from Yana:
Yana is a young artist who had a background in engraving (metal, lino, wood) and screen printing, but she also likes to mix techniques.
In her work, we can see that she has a passion for the natural world: insects, bacteria and plants are infinite sources of inspiration. She gleans, chines and provokes the chance to find objects that arouse new ideas.
With what she finds, she composes and juxtaposes to create hybrid works, out of her imagination or born by "accident".I find it interesting to collaborate with "Soulgoodiez" to make a skateboard engraved on wood because it is completely linked to my universe. Here everyone sees what they want in my organic world. To be free in art, on your board, in your mind ... Everything is connected.
